  21.   My old one did this, well, It stopped now. It seems after a while the tray
  22.   that holds the disk wears out and bends down slightly, just enough to make
  23.   it think you are putting a disk in. Try gently lifting the front edge of the
  24.   tray with a screwdriver, but don't for gawds sake stick it in further.

  26. On the other hand if it only does it when there is a disk in, and it actually
  27. reads, (i.e. not just spins and looks for a disk for about 30secs-1min), it
  28. could well be a virus or some kind of software bug. Oh, great, I'm saying how
  29. it's stopped and mine has just started doing it :)

  31.  Mine does not try to read, it just spins a bit, cos I'm lacking a drive front
  32.  and can see right the way in.
